French indie band Phoenix’s album Ti Amo paints scenes of Italian summers with soft synth tones and romantic pop sounds. I designed editorial layout spreads for a Pitchfork review, aiming to capture the mood of the album with warm imagery of Italy outdoors. Pitchfork writer Marc Hogan characterizes the album as lofty, upbeat, and sunny. To reflect the sentiments of the review I kept the composition light and spacious with moderately loose leading in the body and pops of red throughout the text.
